Easter pages and Day 19

Awhile ago I made 9 easter circles for a swap and I am now getting some back in the mail. Little pieces of Easter!

These are mine..

and the fronts with each persons initial on it. I went with more springy pastel colors instead of bunnies - these might be good for all year round.

Day 19 on habits...

Claudine's Journal and Day 18

This is the next journal in the circle journal swap I am in. This is the 4th one I have worked on including my own - so almost done!

Claudine's Journal was food based. Not too hard for me! And of course I had to do desserts and I narrowed it down to cookies. I love cookies!




The middle tag says C is for cookie on the one side.

This was fun! I love all the other entries in this one too, they are so creative!


On to Day 18 - almost done! Good thing, since I have to concentrate on artfest stuff soon. Yikes! I havent done any trades and I need to pack my bags and art stuff and I wanted to do 2 peices of art too.... on and on!

Scenes from Ottawa and Day 17

When I thought about going on March break I thought it would be spring.. yeah right. -16 with the windchill and ice pellets!

Nice.

And we decided to walk... it was nice when we left.

Friday we went to the museum of nature. Some neat stuff.





Then we went to the currency museum. I really liked this one, it had the history of all money and then the history of Can. money and how they make it. A lot of original bills from the past too and from other countries.

Day 13-16

We got back from Ottawa last night and I got my 4 spreads done this morning - whew!

Day 12

My take on success...





Sarah and I are off tomorrow to the big city of Ottawa. We are staying a couple days and doing some sightseeing. Sean will have some fun with the new puppy for a couple of days!

Day 11

One of my dreams... just puttin it out there in the universe. Nothing happens by just THINKING about it.





This is a photo I took in New Hampshire in the White mountains on top of Mt. Washington. I drove up - not hiked! - but the view was amazing and the trail goes along the ridge of these mountains.

Sunny here! And sleep last night! Hurray!

Pretty tired today.. thanks to non sleeping puppies.

My art journal for today.






And we are now digging out from the blizzard. Crazy. I've never seen this much snow. This is out my back door and yes, it is almost up to my waist.

Meet Maggie! and Day 8

Here is our new puppy! She is named Maggie and all variations of that. This was a fast decision on Thursday night and she came home last night. It's like having a new baby I tell ya... but she is good and starting to be trained already. Sarah hasn't seen her yet and she is coming home tomorrow. It's a good thing its march break next week so she can help me!


It's hard to get a good picture cause she moves around a lot. Or she's sleeping.





And then I did Day 8.

Day 7

Whew! I did those fast! I am surprised how fast I can do this once I get the quote, I just go through my "stash" of pictures and words I've collected forever and the page forms and the words flow! Cool.

Well, I am back and just in time since it is snowing now and we are getting that big storm now and tomorrow - maybe 2 feet of snow! Yikes. So we might be without power... so I got stocked up today.


Food? Water?


no....


What else is a girl to do with no computer? lol!
